We’re excited to announce that early registration is now open for the 2026 Breakin’ Clays for Vu Fun Shoot, happening on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Camanche Hills Hunting Preserve!

This special event was founded by retired Sergeant Randy Yen to honor the memory of Detective Vu Nguyen, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty on December 19, 2007, while serving Sacramento County.

Now in its 16th year, Breakin’ Clays for Vu brings together teams of six for a day of clay target shooting, camaraderie, and remembrance. The event is consistently sold out, so early registration is highly recommended.

Proceeds benefit the Vu Nguyen Memorial Scholarship Fund through the Star 6 Foundation, helping cover educational expenses for children whose parents served with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office and lost their lives in the line of duty.

Register online using the link below. $150 PER SHOOTER.
