2011 STAR 6 Memorial Run - May 22, 2011

The Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association and the STAR 6 Foundation are excited to announce the 2011 STAR 6 Foundation Memorial 5K/10K run to be held on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Nimbus Flats (Lake Natoma). The Memorial Run is one of the main fundraisers for the Foundation and helps in providing financial assistance, grievance counseling and support for the spouses, families and “brothers and sisters” of the fallen and injured men and women of law enforcement.

Last year we had nearly 500 participants that either ran or walked the 10K, 5K, or 1 Mile...from strollers to dogs, from 77 year olds to 6 year olds and from youth soccer teams to running clubs and gyms. We truly appreciated the support and participation and expect this year’s memorial run to be even better!

So come out, bring your friends, family, co-workers and neighbors....have a great time and help support the men and women of law enforcement!
